Quick Description: The LaChapell 583s microphone preamp is one of the few tube preamps for the 500 series. This is a great sounding preamp (not as good as the LaChapell 992EG All-Tube Preamp) but it sounds really great while not being overly colored.

Manufacturer Description: The Model 583s is the world’s first vacuum tube preamplifiers designed for 500 series frames and is based on our popular 992EG platform. The input stage is a traditional single-ended type utilizing a 1:10 microphone input transformer along with one ECC83/12AX7 vacuum tube.
